Caroline Hill is a Senior Group Leader at the Francis Crick Institute and is a world leader in the TGF-ß signalling field. Her work has had a huge impact on understanding how cell communication, through signal transduction, drives diverse developmental and disease processes. Her work has strongly influenced current thinking on how deregulated TGF-ß family signalling leads to cancer, fibrosis and the Marfan-related syndromes.
