Mentorship Schemes

We are currently running three distinct mentorship schemes primarily aimed at female staff and PhD students, but open to all. These activities not only help mentees, but also provide valuable skills and experience to those who are doing the mentoring. Being a mentor also is one of the factors considered in promotion.
Please contact the following if you wish to be a mentor or wish to be mentored:

• Vitor Teixeira & Manuela Platé for the post-doc researcher mentoring (post-docs grades 7 & 8 mentored by academic staff)
• Manuela Platé  for the PhD student mentoring (PhD students mentored by post-docs grades 7 & 8)
• Jill Norman  for PhD student peer mentoring

We would also like to make you aware that there is a cross-institutional mentoring scheme in place across London called the B-MEntor Mentoring Scheme for all staff who identify as BME.
