Application Process

  1. Check your eligibility

Check that you meet the entry requirements.
  2. Complete a UCAS application

Applications are made through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service). The application deadline is 15 October. Late applications are not considered.

The UCAS application should be complete and accurate when submitted, as we do not accept later amendments, and should include a personal statement and an academic reference. There is no direct application process - only complete, on-time UCAS applications will receive consideration.
  3. Register to take the UCAT

You must also take the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) in the year that you apply.

For candidates who meet our minimum academic entry requirements, the UCAT score is used to select candidates for interview. UCAT have a bursary scheme and details regarding access arrangements for the test are available on the UCAT website.

There are many freely available resources, question banks and practice tests on the UCAT website to help prepare for this test.
