Research Department of Medical Education
Academic and research staff from a variety of backgrounds (education, social science, psychology, philosophy, medical ethics, and clinical specialties) contribute to our interdisciplinary educational research activities by creating and celebrating internationally recognised medical education research.
The outputs from our award-winning research are consistently published in high impact peer reviewed national and international healthcare and medical education journals, and continuously disseminated at global conferences and seminars.
We are recognised nationally and internationally for our high standards of innovation and development in medical education research, especially in the area of assessment. We were the only department to submit under Medical Education in the Research Excellence Framework 2014.
