Dr Harbir Sidhu

Harbir Sidhu is a Consultant Radiologist specialising in diagnostic oncological and gastrointestinal imaging at UCLH with research interest in Oncological Imaging particularly with the use of translational MR techniques.

He graduated from University College London and completed surgical training culminating in gaining membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2009. After specialising in clinical radiology and training in the Southwest of England, he completed an Oncological and GI Radiology Fellowship at St Marks and Mount Vernon Hospitals before undertaking an Academic Radiological Fellowship at UCL/UCLH with PhD thesis centred around the development and validation of novel and quantitative MRI methods for cancer evaluation. He has oversight for current trial specific cancer imaging reporting at UCLH as part of commercial and non-commercial clinical trials.

Research Summary

Harbir is interested to translating novel imaging methods to clinical use and has developed experience of quantitative MR techniques in oncological settings. He has also gained extensive experience in the application and reporting of whole body MRI in cancer in the transition from research tool to clinical use in multicentre oncological trials.
