Research on this theme looks at the legal implications of private law and commercial law. Academics working in this cluster are concerned with, among other topics, equitable doctrine, property theory, international commercial litigation, international commercial arbitration, personal taxation and tax law, estate planning, unjust enrichment, equity and trusts disputes and administration, insolvency, comparative private contract law, commercial remedies, and EU and national consumer law.
Some of the work in this theme is affiliated with the UCL Centre for Commercial Law, which produces the commercial law journal International Corporate Rescue.
