Support in academic communication for students studying an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Brain Sciences

The UCL Academic Communication Centre (ACC) is for all students, to support you to communicate critically and confidently at university, and to help you understand what is expected of you in your assignments. Enrol on the ACC Moodle to find out about our support.

The ACC also works with departments in your faculty to tailor workshops to enhance your academic writing and speaking skills. Information about these workshops will be communicated through your department or programme.

The Psychology writing lab offers one-to-one tutorials, workshops and an extensive range of resources. Enrol on the Psychology Writing Lab Moodle to find out more.

"In just two hours I feel a bit more confident about my understanding of essay writing. Like most first year students I was apprehensive of the transition we would have to make in our writing style, but this course really explains even the basics very clearly. The resources, our ACC tutor and all points and questions raised during the session were all really helpful for a holistic understanding of academic writing."
