Update your Zoom software
Ensure that your Zoom software is up to date
This guide is aimed at:
- Staff
- Students
Instructions for desktop application
- Sign in to Zoom
- Click on your profile icon in the top right of the screen
- Click on check for updates
- If a newer version of Zoom is available you will receive a notification dialogue advising there is a new version is available.
- Once the check is finished, click on update
- The application will update.
Zoom is now available in the Software Centre for users on Desktop@UCL. This doesn't require you to have admin rights to install the app on your device. To access, type Software Centre into the Search box and then search for Zoom.
Note: Zoom is not available on Desktop@UCL Anywhere.
Instructions for mobile app
- Navigate to the Apple App store or Google play store
- Search for Zoom
- If an update is available you will see an update button next to the app
- Click update to install the update
