Turn on Focus mode in Zoom settings

This guide explains how to turn on Focus mode in your Zoom settings so you can use it during a meeting.

Focus Mode helps attendees to stay attentive as they are not distracted by others. Before you can use this feature you will need to switch it on in your Zoom account settings: 

1. Go to the UCL Zoom website and sign in using your UCL userid and password.
2. On your profile page select Settings from the left hand menu
3. Click the Meeting tab.
4. Under In Meeting (Advanced), click the Focus Mode toggle to enable it
5. (Optional) Select the check box next to Allow host to enable focus mode when scheduling, then click Save. This option allows you to schedule meetings with focus mode to start automatically when the meeting starts.
