- Introduction to Clinical Ophthalmology
The course is available to anyone who is keen to gain an overview of Clinical Ophthalmology and its subspecialties.
- Masterclass in Ocular Oncology
Ocular Oncology is a subspeciality of Ophthalmology that deals with rare tumours, including cancers of the eye; in this course, experts from our institute will discuss the presentation, diagnosis, and management of intraocular and ocular surface tumours.
- Masterclass in Neuro-ophthalmology
Neuro-ophthalmology is a subspeciality combining ophthalmology and neurology; it deals with the interplay between the eyes and the brain. In this course, experts from UCL will discuss the presentation, diagnosis, and management of key conditions encountered in neuro-ophthalmology.
- Masterclass in Glaucoma
Glaucoma is a subspeciality of Ophthalmology that deals with damage to the optic nerve causing sight loss. In this course, experts from our institute and Moorfields Eye Hospital will discuss the presentation, diagnosis, and management of primary and secondary glaucoma.
- Masterclass in Oculoplastic, Lacrimal and Orbital Diseases
Oculoplastics relates to diseases of the eyelid and conjunctiva including malignancies. Lacrimal relates to diseases of the lacrimal drainage apparatus. Orbital relates to diseases of the orbital bones or orbital contents. In this course, experts from our institute and Moorfields Eye Hospital will discuss the presentation, diagnosis, and management of oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital diseases.
- Masterclass in External Disease
The course begins with understanding the examination and diagnostic techniques in anterior segment. Special attention is paid to imaging including corneal tomography and confocal microscopy.
- Introduction to Research Methods in Ophthalmology
This course is unique in providing a broad overview of the core disciplines important for appreciating quantitative ophthalmic clinical research - epidemiology, statistics and health economics.
