Members of the group are experienced in undertaking large cohort studies and have considerable expertise in Parkinson's diagnosis, management, and palliative care. The consortium also has expertise in quantitative and qualitative research, evaluation of economics and health outcomes measures.
The multinational nature of the group allows covering several areas with the European Union. This provides an opportunity to assess the comparative effectiveness of different health-care systems.
