The Unit offers Senior Fellowship opportunities through the Royal College of Surgeons of England. The Fellowship has been consistently highly rated by trainees, and is highly competitive, so informal approaches to the Clinical Lead are encouraged before applying.

‘This is an excellent, hands-on fellowship in a high-volume centre for pituitary and anterior skull base pathology, led by a dedicated programme director. It has provided me with the advanced knowledge and skills required for the independent and safe management of conditions involving the anterior skull base, including exposure to extended endoscopic approaches. The fellowship is enhanced by regular interdisciplinary exchanges with associated specialties, offering opportunities for in-depth case discussions and providing a full scope of management options and of how these can be tailored to the needs of the individual patient. In addition to the extensive clinical and surgical experience acquired, the programme also provides multiple research opportunities. As a whole, this fellowship allows to prepare in every regard for a consultant post with clinical and academic responsibilities involving surgery of the pituitary and the anterior skull base.’ – Mr Ivan Cabrilo

Senior Clinical Fellowships will be advertised on the UCLH jobs page
