Here you will find more information on education within the Unit.
The Unit offers several courses for trainees through the Queen Square Simulation Centre. We collaborate closely with UpSurgeOn and engineers within UCL to provide cutting-edge simulations of endoscopic pituitary surgery. Our courses are highly rated by trainees, and are heavily oversubscribed, so early sign-ups are encouraged.
‘The overall course was a brilliant way of understanding and learning pituitary surgery for surgeons and nurses.’ – Participant
‘Great course, well-organised. Simulation training isn't done often enough in neurosurgery and would greatly appreciate similar courses.’ – Participant
To find out more about our pituitary courses please see our Queen Square Simulation Centre page.
We also founded and continue to be closely be involved with two annual conferences on pituitary disease: the Clinicopathological Conference on Pituitary Disease, and the Annual Meeting of the British Neuroendscopy Society.
