Undergraduate and clinical training at Polytechnic University of Marche, Ancona, Italy. Postgraduate clinical training in London, at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square. Currently Senior Clinical Research Fellow at UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, and Consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and Chalfont Centre for Epilepsy.
