1 May 2015
Professor Ray Dolan, Director of The Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging, UCL Institute of Neurology, has been elected Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts.
The European Academy of Sciences and Arts was founded in 1990 and focuses on interdisciplinary discussion across specialist areas, ideologies and scientific cultures as well as promoting transnational dialogue and visionary developments of new scientific knowledge and academic thinking.
The uniqueness of the Academy lies in its ability to work across
boundaries for the aesthetics of science. It now brings together over
1700 scientists and researchers, philosophers and artists from Europe,
Asia and the USA, including 32 Nobel Prize winners.
The European Academy of Sciences and Arts is a very important organisation for interdisciplinary discussions. I am delighted to be elected to this organisation and look forward to being an active and engaged member. Professor Ray Dolan
