Memorandum of collaboration signed

The Department of Clinical and Experimental Epilepsy (DCEE), at the UCL Institute of Neurology, and the Stichting Epilepsie Instellingen Nederland (SEIN) have signed an important agreement to formalise their already very fruitful collaborations.

This will enhance and optimise highly successful collaboration in the areas of research, education and training in the field of epilepsy.

SEIN - The Epilepsy Institutes in the Netherlands Foundation is one of the major providers of services to people with epilepsy in the Netherlands. In addition to providing services, SEIN is a research-orientated organisation and is a major player in this field in the Netherlands.

The Department of Clinical and Experimental Epilepsy - is one of the leaders in the field of epilepsy research in Europe and is based at UCL Institute of Neurology.

The agreement is from 2009-2014, and was signed at a ceremony on 14th August by Professor Alan Thompson, Director of the Institute, and Jean Willem Barzilay CEO of SEIN.
