Event Information
Date: Thursday April 3rd 2014, 1pm.
Speaker: Shaihan Malik, King’s College London
Shaihan is working on Direct Signal Control (DSC) concepts for which he won the ISMRM Young Investigator Award in 2012 and received an EPSRC fellowship in 2013.
Special CNT seminar
This seminar will present work carried out using the first 3T clinical prototype 8-channel PTx system covering topics including measuring the RF inhomogeneity (B1 mapping), in-vivo imaging applications for tailored RF pulse design (excitation homogeneity for T1w MP-RAGE and fat suppression at 3T) before outlining initial work on the DSC concept including 3D-FSE brain imaging at 3T.
Venue: 4th Floor Seminar Room, Wellcome Centre for Neuroimaging, 12 Queen Square, London, WC1N 3BG
