Hamlyn Symposium 2023

PhD student Vanni Consumi discusses his experience attending the Hamlyn Symposium last month. “The conference promoted outstanding workshops, talks, posters, clinical and industrial forums, which discussed the advancements and the translation of surgical intervention, medical imaging, and robotic systems. Once again, it was a fantastic venue to discover the emerging work in the field and to share ideas with researchers from other institutes during coffee breaks. For me, it was a great deal of learning and fun, too! In the last two editions of this exhibition, I had the opportunity to attend and contribute with my research with a pitch presentation and a poster presentation. Being involved in this showcase of technology in medical robotics and being part of a vibrant community of experts was an extraordinary experience.”
