UCL Medical Devices Workshop

Towards the end of January, WEISS staff attended and contributed to an excellent all-day workshop on medical devices. The aim of the workshop was to help staff explore the often-complex medical device regulatory pathways and to help understand and overcome the challenges of medical devices research and translation. WEISS’s Rachael Rodell and Adrien Desjardins (pictured) spoke at the workshop and discussed their own experiences of navigating regulatory pathways. This was a joint event organised by the IHE Research Infrastructure and Translation & Industry Delivery Groups, in collaboration with UCL’s Joint Research Office (JRO) and Translation Research Office (TRO).
