New Vice-Chair appointment for WEISS member

Congratulations to Peter Snow who has been selected as Vice-Chair for the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Technical Network (TN) on the Healthcare Technology Executive Committee. On being selected, Peter said: “I have been a member of the IET for many years and in 2019 after a chance meeting during an IET event I was given the opportunity to be part of not only the Healthcare Technology Technical Network Executive Committee, but also the Robotics & Mechatronics Executive Committee. This provides me the opportunity to not only promote healthcare technology and robotics to the wider public, but to also organise and support events such as my Upper Limb Technological Rehabilitation webinar which I ran last year (with two UCL members presenting their work). I look forward to working closely with the chair and promoting healthcare technology, an area I am passionate about!”
