MICCAI 2022

The 25th International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention, MICCAI 2022, was held from September 18 to 22, 2022 in Resort World Convention Centre Singapore. Members of WEISS were delighted to attend the first MICCAI conference hosted in Southeast Asia.

The annual MICCAI conference attracts the world’s leading biomedical scientists, engineers, and clinicians from a wide range of disciplines associated with medical imaging and computer assisted intervention. The conference series includes three days of scientific content, including oral presentations and poster sessions. 

Congratulations to Chiara Di Vece and Dimitrios Anastasiou who won a video competition at MICCAI. The competition was launched by the Women in MICCAI (WiM) to "spotlight our inspirational MICCAI members and to build our community legacy". The video features an interview with Franscisco Vasconcelos who talks about his academic life/experience and research.
