Aortic Dissection Awareness Day

On 31^st October, the Multiscale Cardiovascular Engineering group, led by Vanessa Diaz and Stavroula Balabani, became the first engineering group to host the Aortic Dissection Awareness’ annual event. The awareness day held at the British Medical Association House brought together researchers and clinicians working on the condition as well as over 150 people affected by it. As part of the event, they ran a co-production session so that attendees could influence the direction of their research.
