Biography
Niall is Lead Technologist in Innovation and Enterprise in UCL's Engineering Faculty working on the TRIANGLE Horizon 2020 project that is building a wireless testbed for SMEs to test their apps and devices on a number of different network conditions, including pre-standardised 5G networks. He also works on helping to spin-out companies from the University and also with tech mentorship to companies in UCL and also companies based at IDEALondon and StartupBootcamp IOT accelerator.
Niall is the CTO-in-residence at UCL's School of Management and has also taught Mobile Web courses for the W3C, who define the internet standards. Previously, he ran his own consultancy building a range of mobile solutions. Previously he was an employee of MobileAware (now https://awarex.com) building telecom and app software that was deployed in mobile networks for Telstra, MCell (MTN Group), Digicell and other telcos worldwide including building iOS apps for Air France and KLM.
