Professor Kai-Kit Wong recognised on Highly Cited Researchers 2022 list

Professor Kai-Kit Wong, an academic member of the Institute of Communications and Connected Systems at the Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering, has been featured on Clarivate’s annual ‘Highly Cited Researchers List’ 2022.

The highly anticipated list identifies researchers who have demonstrated significant influence in their chosen field or fields through the publication of multiple highly cited papers during the last decade.

Their names are drawn from the publications that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and publication year in the Web of ScienceTM citation index. The methodology draws on the data and analysis performed by bibliometric experts and data scientists and the Institute of Scientific InformationTM at Clarivate.

Professor Kai-Kit Wong is 1 out of a total of 20 UCL researchers who have been selected in the ‘Cross-Field’ category, in recognition of their contribution to cross-disciplinary research.

Reflecting on his recent achievement, Professor Kai-Kit Wong comments:

I feel terribly humbled to receive this honour. I never expected to receive this recognition for the work I do every day. To me, this is definitely a collective award and I would like to thank deeply all my collaborators and students.
