Haizhe Liu is a PhD student at UCL recently, majoring in Electronic & Electrical Engineering. She received the BEng and the MPhil degrees, all in Automation and Control, from the NCEPU (North China Electric Power University), China, in 2016 and 2019, respectively. Since September 2019, she has been with University College London, at the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, where she is a PhD in Wireless Communications.

When starting her graduate study, she joined a research group working on automatic control. The research was ‘Control Strategies of Peaking Operation of Heating Units under Various Working Conditions’. Also, it was related to a National Key Research she was working on. Specifically, she optimized the model of objects based on the achievements of the research group, and designed the coordinated control system with HollySys DCS, to meet the increasing multi-objective control requirements. Additionally, she completed 2 papers and 4 patents.
