The Education Delivery Group aims to develop the next generations of healthcare engineering professionals.

The UCL Institute of Healthcare Engineering is not a teaching department, but we and our community members play an important role in shaping the provision of healthcare engineering education at UCL.

Our vision is to be at the forefront of developing and delivering educational programmes that equip graduates to tackle the biggest global health challenges. We're working towards this goal by working with colleagues from across the university, and with our clinical and industry partners.

A breathing aid that can help keep Covid-19 patients out of intensive care, adapted by our engineers at UCL and clinicians at UCLH working with Mercedes-AMG HPP, is now being used in over 150 NHS hospitals. The designs have been made freely available for international use and have now been downloaded by over 1900 teams in 105 countries - we are now supporting these teams to manufacture locally.
