Selina Patel

Selina Patel is a PhD student in Public Health at UCL. This is funded by the ESRC UBEL DTP. Prior to starting her PhD, Selina won the John Butterfield prize for the most outstanding performance in her BSc Biological Sciences (Microbiology) at the University of Birmingham, and then completed her MSc in Control of Infectious Diseases at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. Selina has previously worked in sexual health outreach and internationally with the World Health Organization. Her research interests are in antimicrobial use and resistance.
