New Paper: VIVALDI Team Investigate Antibody Responses to the Second Dose of COVID-19 Vaccination

VIVALDI report on 1317 samples from 402 residents (median age 86 years) and 632 staff (median age 50 years). The study found that residents had strong and durable antibody responses to vaccines that were comparable to those described in the general population. This is reassuring as frail care home residents have been the worst affected by the pandemic; these findings suggest that they have good immune responses to vaccination.
