IHI Academic Clinical Lecturer wins competition
13 February 2017
Congratulations to Robert Aldridge, winner of a competition recently run by the UCL Populations & Lifelong Health Domain, with support from the Domain’s Early Careers Network, the SLMS Research Coordination Office and the UCL Faculty of Population Health Sciences.
UCL early career researchers were invited to take part in the competition with peer-reviewed, published, original research papers in the broad theme of populations and lifelong health. Rob received the award for his paper on 'Tuberculosis in migrants moving from high-incidence to low-incidence countries: a population-based cohort study of 519 955 migrants screened before entry to England, Wales, and Northern Ireland’.
Prize winners will receive a substantial award that they can use as appropriate to support their research or career development. They were also invited to present their winning papers at the UCL Populations & Lifelong Health Domain Symposium in January 2017.
