Combines distance learning and intensive face to face teaching in a flexible programme that prepares students from a wide range of backgrounds to lead the digital transformation of healthcare organisations. This is a unique collaboration with the University of Manchester and the NHS Leadership Academy, and brings together the largest team of health informatics researchers and academics in the UK.Designed with NHS England, and uses a mix of distance learning and face to face teaching. Students, who typically have a first degree in a scientific or mathematical subject, acquire skills in statistics, applied mathematics and health economics, and are equipped to work as health data analysts using complex data sets to inform management decisions. This multidisciplinary programme is delivered by leading academics from across UCL.A campus-based programme which can be taken full time or part time. Students with a first degree in a scientific or mathematical subject take an intensive training in scientific computing, epidemiology, and statistics as well as learning about topics such as AI. The programme has a research focus but many students go on to careers in industry, some supported during their MSc through our internship programme.
