Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) is a new type of institute, characterised by bringing together expertise and partnerships at scale. these partnerships include universities and institutes across six research sites. One of these sites is London.
Professor Harry Hemingway, Director of the UCL Institite of Health Informatics, is the Director of HDR UK London, bringing together five London universities in partnerships for data science for health.

Dr Maryam Atakhorrami, Chief Operation Officer for HDR UK London at UCL. Working with stakeholders of London Universities, NHS and Industry, she leads the coordination and delivery of the London Site activities aligned with HDR UK national priorities in science, people and Infrastructure. She is building scientific communities across London to develop collaborations that deliver on HDR UK’s ambitious mission for improving people’s life.
