Finn Catling

Finn Catling is an anaesthetics trainee in North Central Thames. His research centres on early diagnosis and improved treatment of critically-ill adults, by applying machine learning and Bayesian statistics to electronic health data. He holds an MSc with distinction from UCL Computer Science. Finn’s recent work has been published in the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association and the International Journal of Medical Informatics. He is an NHS England Clinical Entrepreneurship Fellow, a Fellow of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics and a member of the core advisory group for the Academic Health Science Networks Artificial Intelligence Programme. He co-founded the medical education startup T-Log and the Data Science for Doctors courses.
