Tell me more about your background – It would be great to find out more about your education and career so far.

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing. I’m also an ACCA student already passed 12 out of 13 exams. I have internship experience in both FMCG and accounting firms which were quite different. I found myself always passionate about doing marketing things after these several internships.

What was your main motivation for enrolling in this Programme at GBSH?

Learn something that is in line with the new trend (healthcare), and tbh buy time to learn more about myself and my future career direction.

What value do you feel your programme will add to your career moving forward?

Equips me with healthcare-related social science knowledge which allows me to try the healthcare-related consulting track when finding fresh grad jobs.

How did your studies at GBSH contribute to your ability to secure your current position?

Critical thinking

How did your MSc degree from GBSH give you an edge in the competitive job market?

Firstly, under the title of UCL, it is more likely to be recognised by HR or AI in the candidate screening process. GBSH is the world’s first business school for health, interviewers are always curious about it and more likely to remember me as a GBSH student.

How has your career trajectory been influenced by your time studying at GBSH?

Because of the GBSH experience, I can now try to go for healthcare market consulting jobs.

What advice do you have for current and prospective students looking to secure a rewarding job placement after graduation?

Start early, prepare a little bit about the company before attending the interview.

Looking back, is there anything you would have done differently during your time at GBSH to improve your career prospects further?

I may attend more career events like resume advising workshops, cover letter workshops, career fairs, and so on.

What are your long-term career goals? How does your MSc from GBSH, along with your current work, align with these goals?

Be a well-rounded marketer, can own and handle tasks smoothly, and can teach fellow fresh grads with my experience.

What advice would you give to prospective students thinking about applying for your programme?

Besides studies, GBSH is a good networking platform for all students around the world.
