Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Health Policy and Systems, Ref:1888711

We are looking for a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Health Policy and Systems to support the delivery of our MBA and MSc programmes in collaboration with the GBSH team.

You will work across UCL to ensure that the MBA and MSc students are able to meet their career potential through high impact activities that support their programme by providing oversight of pastoral and academic support.

You will work closely with Programme Leads to prepare and deliver appropriate teaching material, including regular tutorials and seminars, as part of the delivery of the relevant module requirements.

Education Manager, Ref:B02-03921

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Education Manager who will lead the administration and operational management to support the smooth running and effective provision of high-quality education and student experience within GBSH. This is an exciting new role to develop the teaching and learning delivery and support, across the new GBSH postgraduate programmes. Working closely with senior managers and academics, you will contribute to strategic planning, innovation, and consistent application of good practice across education portfolio. You will be part of a growing team and directly line manage two Education Co-ordinators, covering all student support from enquiry to completion.

Postgraduate Teaching Assistants (multiple vacancies), REF:B02-04128

We are looking for motivated Postgraduate Teaching Assistants (PGTAs) and Senior Teaching Assistants, to be part of an enthusiastic and committed programme team in an international learning environment. You will support teaching and learning across designated modules, working with the academic modules leads through the delivery of small group teaching for students undertaking programmes in the Global Business School for Health. We are looking for individuals with specific knowledge and/or interest in the following modules:

GBSH0016 - Capital and Equity Markets
GBSH0025 - Healthcare Supply Chain Management
GBSH0026 - Pharma Commercialisation and Marketing
GBSH0007 - Changing Health Systems
GBSH0012 - Organisational Behaviour for an inclusive and diverse workforce
PSYC0098 - Human Factors for Digital Health

The main duties of the post include facilitating seminar sessions and tutorials, regular meetings with the module leader, managing discussion boards and provision of feedback to students, scheduling weekly office hours, attendance reporting, coursework assessment and examination marking. Senior PGTAs may be required to provide light-touch leadership to PGTAs, in addition to teaching duties.

Once recruited, you will be given induction and training in support of your role. The number of hours to be worked each week will be agreed with the PGTA according to their availability and module schedule, but up to a maximum of 180 hours in total for the academic year if you are a current full-time PhD student.
