In this recent article from SThree, the UCL GBSH MSc Digital Health and Entrepreneurship programme lead Dr Adam Dubis is featured talking about the future of digital healthcare and how digitalisation is transforming how healthcare is delivered, fuelling demand for new and specialised skills.

Dr Dubis is quoted expressing, “Covid-19 has accelerated the use of digital health technology and driven the acknowledgment that we need more technical skills like computing, engineering and data analytics to drive innovation.” 

Beyond individuals highly skilled in digital technology, Dr Dubis also asserts that even within the more traditional roles in healthcare, "practitioners will need to acquire new skills, as technology drives changes in hospital wards, clinics and operating rooms."
