In this latest episode of the European Conversations podcast, Kirsty Hughes of UCL Laws speaks to Susanne Oberhauser, Director of the European Parliament Liaison Office in the UK.

The two discuss events on the horizon in EU affairs, including the upcoming European Parliament elections to be held in June.

About the host

Kirsty Hughes is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and was the founder and director of the Scottish Centre on European Relations from 2017-2021. She is a leading expert on European politics and public policy and has worked at a number of major European think tanks, including as European Director at Chatham House, and as a Senior Fellow at Friends of Europe and the Centre for European Policy Studies. She has published extensively on European and international politics including books, articles, reports and as a journalist. She has also been a senior political adviser in the European Commission.

Kirsty is currently a member of the UCL European Institute Advisory Board and has collaborated with the UCL European Institute on Regional and small state influencing in the EU, under our Jean Monet Centre of Excellence Programme (2019 – 2022).
