Nikki Newhouse

Nikki Newhouse

Nikki is a PhD student at UCL's Interaction centre (UCLIC) and eHealth Unit, where her doctoral work focuses on the interdisciplinary development and evaluation of novel technologies to support maternal wellbeing in the transition to new parenthood. 

Background

Nikki's background is in psychology and prior to becoming a researcher, she was an editor and journalist.  Nikki also holds a research post at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care, University of Oxford, where she works with a multi-disciplinary team on an NIHR programme grant to codesign a novel digital system (SuMMiT-D) to support people living with type II diabetes.
