• “Personalised care for people with Parkinson’s Disease: PD-Care”. This study aims to develop and evaluate a facilitated self-management toolkit enabling personalised care for community-living people with Parkinson's disease (PD). This study is using qualitative interviews and focus groups with carers, people with Parkinson’s disease and professionals to develop the content of an intervention, and co-design methods to develop the intervention, testing in a phase III trial. This research is led by Kate Walters and Anette Schrag, with Nathan Davies as co-investigator and qualitative lead for the programme. This is an NIHR programme grant for applied research.
