NIHR Pre-doctoral Fellowship for Clinical Trials

This funding option could apply to you, if you are:

  • An aspiring research methodologist interested in clinical trials
  • Already employed by a higher education institution in the UK
  • Considering an MSc, Diploma or Certificate in Clinical Trials with us
  • Looking for funding to support your studies and research training
  • Eligible for Home/UK fees

If this is you, here is a breakdown of the eligibility and application process:

Eligibility:

  • Degree: Hold a relevant undergraduate degree or be about to complete one, OR have a master's level degree in a relevant field (e.g., Health sciences, statistics).
  • Program: Aim to enter our courses in September 2024 or 2025.
  • Career Goal: Pursue a career as a research methodologist in clinical trials.

Funding Support:

  • Covers salary, full UK/Home Masters level tuition fees, research & development costs, conference travel, supervision fees, and PPI involvement.
  • Fellowship duration: 12, 18, or 24 months (depending on training needs).
  • Full-time or part-time options available.

  2. Check eligibility: Ensure you meet all the criteria mentioned above.
