The Institute has a Business Continuity Committee and Team structure in order to increase resilience for the core activities of the Institute of Clinical Trials and Methodology (ICTM), and to ensure that the Institute’s core activities are operational at least at a minimal level during a major incident or disaster. Core activities are identified as; primary research and business functions.

Linking into the ICTM Business Continuity Plan is the Critical Incident Management Process and Policy managed through ISD services. Critical Incident Management aligns the Institutes operation services and functions to manage high priority assets and situations coordinated between multiple UCL teams.
