Centre welcomes Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor

4 October 2022

We are delighted to welcome Dr Mark McBride-Wright as a Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor in Inclusive Engineering Leadership.

Mark McBride Wright

Mark will join the UCL Centre for Engineering Education in the UCL Faculty of Engineering Sciences on a part-time basis for a period of 3 years.

The aim is combine Mark's industry knowledge and experience with the teaching and learning experience of the faculty teaching and learning team to develop a portfolio of materials across the undergraduate programmes that will put inclusivity front and centre of all the team-work and group-work activities that students engage in. We see this as having a two-fold impact. Firstly, this will help to create an inclusive environment within UCL Engineering teams to support all students to achieve their potential in their studies. Secondly, it will engender an awareness of inclusive and an inclusive approach to leadership in all students that they will carry with them into their professional careers.
