UCL Centre for Engineering Education

Engineering is at the very centre of our ability to address global social, human welfare, environmental and economic challenges

MSc in Engineering and Education

Our ability to address these challenges depends on the quality and availability of engineering education and skills at all levels, and on an increased and consistent supply of talent to engineering, and hence on diversity and openness.

This calls for fresh thinking about how to design under- and post-graduate engineering degrees; how to build more effective relationships between engineering degrees and pre-university programmes of study (Further, Secondary and Primary Education); and how to develop and deliver more effective forms of continuing support for practising engineers.

It is with this in mind that UCL is introducing the MSc Engineering and Education. The programme is the first of its kind in the UK, and one of only a few in the whole world.

The MSc programme is a joint collaboration between the Institute of Education and the Faculty of Engineering and will be launching in September 2018.
