Emerging Technologies in Higher Education and Challenges for Teachers in Developing Countries: Lan Yang - Programme Officer for Curriculum Development at UNESCO-ICHEI, (International Centre for Higher Education Innovation).

Drawing from her professional experience and Doctoral research, Lan Yang discusses how digital technology, AI, and open educational resources (OER) can be used to improve the quality of higher education in developing countries in Asia and Africa.

Education and Skill Building for the Energy Transition:
Samah Elsayed - Programme Officer at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA)

Countries all over the world need to urgently transition to national energy systems that minimise energy-related emissions and limit climate change if they are to meet their zero-carbon goals. Samah explores current and future skilling needs for the energy transition and the key education and training measures and policies that will be required.

Pedagogic innovation on the IEP to support inclusive, future-proof Engineering Education:
Dr Chika Nweke - Assistant Professor, Dept of Biochemical Engineering, UCL

In this session Chika looks at how an Engineering School reconfigured their teaching practices in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and how this might inform approaches to future-proofing Engineering Education.
