The Centre for Advanced Biomedical Imaging is a multidisciplinary research Centre for biomedical imaging. Our aim is to develop novel imaging techniques to improve health and well-being.

About us

CABI is a world-class imaging centre located in the heart of the UCL campus. The Centre hosts 12 state-of-the-art imaging modalities and 50 researchers from across a wide range of disciplines including physics, biology, pharmacology, engineering, nanoscience, chemistry, as well as molecular and cellular biosciences. The Centre has a long-standing track record in the development of imaging techniques and has been awarded over £40 million to create a platform for imaging research. CABI is one of the most advanced biomedical imaging facilities in the world, and its pioneering capabilities are helping to keep the UK at the forefront of scientific research. CABI is part of the Division of Medicine.
