For the first time we have brought preclinical imaging together at UCL. We have created an integrated strategy for preclinical imaging across the whole campus, which provides open access for researchers to test their hypotheses in vivo. We have established a state-of-the-art in vivo animal unit which can accept animals for anywhere in the UK or overseas.
Through a unique combination of imaging technologies, CABI has already delivered several high impact collaborative projects at UCL. Interacting with all other imaging domains at UCL, such as CMIC and Medical Physics, CABI aims to development a mutually inclusive strategy to implementation novel in vivo imaging technologies, such that these methods are realised in the clinical, experimental medicine and basic science settings.
