Dr Hyung Chul Lee

hyungchul_2017
I am a postdoctoral research associate in the department of Cell and Developmental Biology, UCL. My project aims to investigate mechanisms of establishment of polarity in the early chick embryo regarding initiation of gastrulation. Before I came here, during my Ph.D. in Seoul National University in Korea, I studied the origin of primordial germ cells and intrauterine stage embryos in chicken. While I looked into cleavage-stage chick embryos under the microscope, I was fascinated by them. And it led me to study embryology in here now.
