Junior promotions and pay review processes provide an opportunity for managers to reward staff who are performing exceptionally well. This includes all Academic, Research and Teaching Fellows and Research Assistants for promotion from grades 6-7 to 7-8.

All applications for promotion (including direct route cases) to the senior staff grades 9 and 10 are considered by the Academic Promotions Committee annually.
