A guided walk by Professor Philip Schofield around Bentham's London. Visit Westminster School where Bentham attended as a child; St James's Park where he went jogging every day; Queen Anne's Gate where he lived when he was alive; and UCL where he lives now he's dead. Finish the walk with a drink in the Jeremy Bentham pub!

This
event is run by the Bentham Project as part of Bentham and the Community:
an exciting new public engagement initiative to bring together academic and
amateur historians and raise awareness of the life and work of Jeremy Bentham
(1748-1832). Funded by a Beacon Bursary the project consists of three events
aimed at situating UCL more firmly within the local community. The events will
take place in May during the Historical Association's Local History Month.
