Thinking Impact: “How do I evaluate my policy-engagement?”
Join us for an online discussion exploring “impact” and policy- engagement as part of The Bartlett’s Thinking Impact series.
You are invited to attend The Bartlett’s next ‘Thinking Impact’ session, where our conversation will focus on monitoring, evaluation and learning for policy engagement, and how Bartlett staff and students respond to the challenge of capturing evidence. In this session, we will discuss different approaches to evaluating impacts, from research-policy engagement.
In this session, we will:
- Share and discuss examples of different approaches to evaluation in policy engagement and how this looks like in practice;
- Create space for reflection and discussion on the challenges and opportunities for evidencing different types of impacts that arise from policy-engaged work;
- Offer advice and ideas on how evaluation can be an integral part of effective policy-engaged practice
The session will be a combination of short presentations and discussions, and we encourage all staff and students with an interest in impact and professional development to attend.
‘Thinking Impact’ is a space for staff and students to discuss the change we make through our teaching, learning, and research-related activities. The series presents a variety of topics for discussion, with the aim to support the development of staff and students. Thinking Impact events bring together a diverse but related set of views to discuss impact. We aim to contribute to a culture within the faculty where impact, in its diverse form, is a valued activity across research, teaching, innovation and enterprise.
