The Bartlett Summer Show 2023

About

Explore the work of students from five of our architecture programmes – Architecture BSc, Architecture MSci, Architecture MArch, Architectural & Interdisciplinary Studies BSc and Engineering & Architectural Design MEng. 

The Summer Show is The Bartlett's flagship exhibition, and an occasion to celebrate dynamic, radical and innovative design by nearly 900 undergraduate and postgraduate students. 

The exhibition will incorporate a diverse range of student models, drawings, films, multimedia installations and digital fabrications – encouraging a thoughtful dialogue between students and visitors about the future of architecture and its part to play in shaping the world we live in.
 
You can explore the physical Summer Show in person at our Bloomsbury home, 22 Gordon Street, London WC1H 0BQ, with work from predominantly graduating students on display. A parallel digital show will run concurrently on our award-winning virtual exhibition platform, showcasing the work from students across all years of study.

Public Opening Times

10:00 – 20:00, 24 June –  08 July 2023
On the weekends, the exhibition will be open from 10:00 – 17:00.

Please note: the show will be closed to the public on Tuesday 27 June from 15:00 onwards while staff set up for an event in the evening.

Private View

The show opens for students, staff and supporters across all seven floors.
Please note, entrance to our Private View is by invitation only.

Launch Party 
18:00 – 23:30, Friday 23 June 

Main Quadrangle, UCL 
The school celebrates the opening of the show with a party in the UCL quad, food stalls, a bar and music.

Open to all students, staff, alumni - including friends and family but booking is essential. Please show your ticket on arrival.

Family Day
11:00 – 16:00, Saturday 24 June

Celebrate this year’s Summer Show with a range of family activities for the creative and curious.

Open to all families, but booking is essential as capacity is limited. 

Alumni Late
18:30 – 22:30, Tuesday 27 June

A chance for Bartlett alumni, current students and staff to network and explore the show, with guided tours and a bar.

Invitation only, but booking is essential as capacity is limited. Please show your ticket on arrival.
